Rechargeable lighting and considered objects for the way people actually live. Designed to be picked up, moved, and left exactly where you need it.
That single observation started LUMSIC. Cordless lamps usually look like a compromise — plastic, dim, and out of charge exactly when you need them. We wanted something you could carry to the balcony, read under for three hours, and forget to charge for a week without noticing.
So we build around three constraints: light quality first, honest battery numbers, and a body that still looks right after two years. Everything else is detail.
A lamp that lives on a bedside table is furniture, not an accessory. It has to survive being knocked over, being charged every night, and being looked at every day.
Flicker-free drivers, diffused output, and a colour temperature that flatters skin and paper rather than a showroom.
Runtime is quoted at 50% brightness, not at the dimmest setting. If it says twelve hours, it runs twelve hours.
Replaceable battery packs on every rechargeable model, so a two-year-old lamp is not landfill.
The same brief we gave ourselves for lighting — fewer objects, better made — applied to the rest of the house. Kitchen tools first.
